This was one kick-ass of a book. A gene discovered and matched would tell you who your soul mate was – The one you are supposed to spend your life with.
2 million people and more went through this test. It broke a lot of marriages, and it brought together many of them. This was a story of 5 such matched ones.
John Marrs is a fantastic author, he can go beyond all realms to write a story which is as fantastical as it is thrilling. Having read The Passengers in the last few days, I knew I had to read this book. The story brought out the truth of human nature as well as the hidden longing.
The 5 love stories of matched couples had its own suspense because in every one of them, all was not as it seemed. I was quite in awe at the way the author twisted the stories to make them wicked. I couldn’t stop reading till 4am as I had to know how it all ended.
Oh my, what a thrilling ride which brought a deliciously evil smile in my face and a rush to my thriller-y heart.
