Many thanks to publisher Aria for my spot on this Blog Tour.
Author Naomi Joy wrote another intriguing story where I felt I were the dog chasing its own tail. How did she do it? She ran rings around me, making me move in one direction, then the next. It was dizzying at the way twists popped up. Until I stood still and the story split apart revealing its secrets. Oh my!! There were many…
Where was Tabitha? Oh where was she, Annabelle’s best friend? Five years had passed, and there had been no trace of her. After the initial public fury, Rick, Tabby’s husband was roaming scot-free. Everyone had forgotten about her. But not Annabelle and neither had Kay, who wanted to reveal the killer in her podcast.
A swift paced book with multiple POVs, at different timelines providing all the angles to the situation the characters found themselves in. The writing was maddening at first until the author slowly tied them all together. These characters, I tell ya, they were all shifty. The things they did to themselves… Sheesh!!
I couldn’t have ever predicted where the story was going, each POV led me astray. I kept going farther until I realized I was close, so close to the truth. And explode it did with the truth and I knew where Tabitha was!! Do you want to know?
My afternoon read!!
I received a ARC from NetGalley and the publisher, and this is my journey into its pages, straight from the heart!! STRICTLY HONEST AND UNBIASED.
All my reviews can be read here
One unsolved murder. A best friend determined to right the wrongs of the past.
On the 21st August Tabitha Rice disappeared without a trace. All the signs point to murder, but no signs point to a murderer. The easiest answer is her husband, Rick. But he protests his innocence and there is little proof he is the murderer.
Annabella knows there is more to the story than what the police are telling. Tabitha was her best friend and she vows to uncover the truth.
As Annabella delves further into the past, she uncovers sides to Tabitha that she never saw coming, and she finds herself asking the question… Was this murder? Or is there more to Tabitha Rice’s story than meets the eye?

Great review, Shalini. Seems like another compelling psychological thriller. Will definitely check it out.
This sounds like a great afternoon read. Great review!
Of course it is good. The rushed ones are often the best because we don’t have time to agonize over what we write!
