My Review

What was it all about

This was an anthology of 4 suspenseful stories, 3 of which was written by author Charlotte Valentine, and one by Laura Cation.

Darkness pervaded into the stories as none of them was for the fainthearted.

How it made me feel

The one that caught my eye and wicked heart was Ghostwriter. Brilliantly captured with the strokes of the author’s pen, I loved how Charlotte made me want to laugh with evil laughter. Comeuppance had never thus far been written so well; it was everything my vengeant heart wanted.

The Good

Smooth writing, thinking outside the box, leaving the already-done up suspense formula far behind, the stories had something more hiding within the lines, teasing me with a pervasive need to read the book at one go.

Being 77 pages, I could finish it in an hour. So that added one book toward my Goodreads reading goal.

The Bad

For me, Ghostwriter and The Third Door were interesting. The rest two could be polished to make it as exciting. Nonetheless, they made an interesting read.

The Conclusion

I loved the book for the first story. So I would say it was time spent well.

I loved it
3.5/5

I downloaded the digital version of the book from an online retail, and this is my journey down its pages, straight from the heart. STRICTLY HONEST and UNBIASED.
