MY REVIEW
The King of Romantic Comedy has struck gold again with this fantastic book. The story made me smile, snort at the shenanigans of the grandmas, and most importantly, it made me happy and so glad to read it.
Each word was savored like the wines that made their appearance here. Ted from Dizzy Dog Estates wanted to join hands with Ivy from Half Moon Vineyards. But she refused.
His grandma wanted to steal a vine for the Half Moon Vineyard. And all Ted had to do was prevent his grandma from being arrested, and at the same time, find the most intriguing woman whose beauty the flowers were jealous of.
The characters were quirky and oh so lovable. I didn’t want the story to ever end. Only Rich Amooi would know the right vibe to put all of them together in fun situations. There was something so joyous when the grandmas plotted to bring their grandchildren together.
And the banter!! What could I say more that Mr. Amooi wasn’t already famous for! The dialogues were brilliant, filled with snark at the right time and humor at others but always with a core of love. Few scenes caused me to roll in laughter at the inaneness of it. I loved how the author could take a normal situation and make it hilarious.
The book was happiness personified where love deepened with every turn of the page. The characters enveloped my heart with the warmth of their feelings. I was so glad I was right in the midst to see it all happening around me.
This was a fantastic book that soothed my soul in these troubling times. And this is one brilliant author whom I would gladly recommend at all times, forever.
Just one question – When is Netflix going to pick up Rich Amooi books to make them into movies. The world needs to see it.

BOOK BLURB
A sweet romantic comedy set in beautiful Napa Valley!
Ivy needs a miracle and a drink—not necessarily in that order. With a struggling winery, the only hope of keeping her dream alive is snagging a gold medal at the annual wine competition. She’s determined to win, but she can do it without the help of Ted Jacobs, aka Mr. Know-it-All.
Ted wants to catch lightning in a bottle and create the world’s greatest wine, but he’s smart enough to know he can’t do it alone. When he heads to Napa to keep his grandma from ending up in jail (don’t ask), he meets Ivy. She’s as complex and intoxicating as his award-winning cabernet, but as stubborn as the mule next door when she stomps on his offer to collaborate.
Ted knows it’s risky to mix business with pleasure, but if Ivy would only listen, they might just be the toast of the town.
