Book Review - All Her Fault by Andrea Mara @AndreaMaraBooks
Blurb
ONE MISSING BOY.
Marissa Irvine arrives at 14 Tudor Grove, expecting to pick up her young son Milo from his first playdate with a boy at his new school.
But the woman who answers the door isn’t a mother she recognises.
She isn’t the nanny.
She doesn’t have Milo.
And so begins every parent’s worst nightmare.
As news of the disappearance filters through the quiet Dublin suburb and an unexpected suspect is named.
Then whispers start to spread about the women most closely connected to the shocking event.
Because only one of them may have taken Milo . . .
My Review
What was it all about
A missing child arc where the play date organized over the text messages led to catastrophe when Marissa discovered that such a date had never been organized by the other mother.
Someone had played a game, and her child Milo had been a planned target.
How it made me feel
This was equal parts of excitement and nail biting suspense to know the motive behind such an act. I love this arc and so was thrumming with impatience to get to the second half of the book where the truths would be revealed.
There was an ebb and flow to my emotions as I kept tapping my kindle.
Read on…
The Good
Omg! The final reveals had a shiver coursing down my back at the layers hidden in an innocuous plot line.
Till the last line, the author managed to keep me piqued as there was many shockers.
The Bad
The book took me 2 days to finish when it should have taken me three hours, that was due to the fact that the mid section slowed down a bit and tension was lightened.
Maybe if I had skipped the pages and gotten to the delicious last few chapters, the pace would have felt fast for me.
The Conclusion
Rocking twisters made it so worth my time and emotions. Would love to see what the author came up in her next book.

I downloaded the digital version of the book from an online retail, and this is my journey down its pages, straight from the heart. STRICTLY HONEST and UNBIASED.
