MY REVIEW
A beautiful life story that encompassed the special bond granddaughters shared with grandparents.
My first book by author Tammy B. Tsonis, I was completely emotional about the love Rebecca shared with her grandmother Helen. The stories of wartime and grandma’s first love filled my heart with warmth. There was so much beauty in times of pain.
The second half was all about Rebecca’s life and the turmoils of love. I was inspired in the way she took a stand in her life and make her own path, doing something that gave her happiness. I wanted to do that too.
Then came my niggles. The last section when everything fell into place felt to be too smooth and needed an influx of emotions. But that was a small point. Overall, it was a sweet fast read. At 92 pages I could finish in less than an hour.
