Missing child though heart wrenching is one of my favorite plot arcs.
Here a stepmom lost her son who ran into school ahead of her and disappeared. And cops were called.
My first book by this author, plot felt familiar and I had a gentle feel of what could have happened. Yet I enjoyed getting into the maelstrom of the panic and desperation.
The story went through its twists and turns, some expected, some not so much. Overall a comfortable read on a Saturday afternoon.
