MY REVIEW
This was a beautifully nuanced book that had two damaged souls coming together and slowly healing, then falling in love with each other.
I loved the characters in the book, they had a depth to them. Nothing instant about their relationship as they slowly found their way toward each other, taking care of the sensitivities surrounding them. Just like in real life.
Maggie was instantly likable, finding her strength in every page. I loved how she rose from betrayal to living a new life on her terms. The story was formulaic in some ways, but there was comfort in knowing it would be a HEA.
A character based story, I rarely drift toward them, the author managed to pique my interest by keeping it close to reality, which felt genuine. The angst written gave them another layer. Though slow in its perception, it did fill my afternoon with hope.
A sweet beginning for both. And me.

I downloaded the digital version of the book from an online retail, and this is my journey down its pages, straight from the heart. STRICTLY HONEST and UNBIASED.

I enjoy this type of book – you find the best stuff!
Nice! And in the process I learned the acronyms HEA and HFN. I prefer books like this one (and movies too) where the main characters get to know each other before they jump into bed.
Correct. I like an occasional steamy read but I love emotions more
