My review
3 POV, 2 timeliness, and a merging of the two at the right time makes this fast paced book a thrilling read.
The story would seem convoluted a seemingly happy couple, an extramarital affair, unexpected pregnancy, divorce, remarriage, going back to ex, kidnapping the child, planning a new family, the ex wife and the current then making a plan, betrayal, near murder, then a new plan, an accident, coma, and a new life with child.
Wow, doesn’t this make you want to read this book. Writing this review made me realize the various plots and subplots being played all at the same time making this one twisty read.
My first book by author Jess Ryder, I finished it in 2 sittings (I had to sleep at night). The book had everything going for it, written from the women’s point of view. It was nice to get an insight of how each thought.
I would say I hated the husband (obviously he was a cheater and a major plotter), disliked the present wife (she came across as a dumb bimbo), and liked the ex-wife (she was pleasantly gray).
The variation of colors on the character, the fast pace, and the burning curiosity to get to the truth made this one heck of a story. Enjoyed it thoroughly.
I received an ARC from NetGalley and publisher Bookouture, and this is my honest and unbiased opinion.
My rating : 4 stars
Book blurb
Newly married Natasha has the perfect house, a loving husband and a beautiful little girl called Emily. She’d have it all if it wasn’t for Jen, her husband’s ex-wife who just won’t leave them alone …
Then Natasha returns home one day to find her husband and Emily gone without trace. Desperate to get her daughter back, Natasha will do anything even if it means accepting an offer of help from Jen. But can she trust her? And do either of them really know the man they married?

It actually took me about a year of writing reviews on Goodreads to figure out people actually read my reviews, so I better step it up a bit
Your reviews are simply fab
okay, now you are just making my head swim! 3 POV’s, 2 timelines? does it come with an excel spreadsheet? Still, your review makes it sound wondrous! Love that it sounds like it produces such emotions! Thanks!
A whacking on the head with the oar and body pushed into the lake was missed… 😂😂

Does your new blog have a WordPress plug in to follow? Email follow becomes difficult as I am managing too many things, so I get emails round the clock.
No there are no such plugins. But you can follow me on my Facebook, Twitter and Instagram page. From here you can get all the information you need and also all updates.. Thank you in advance.. Keep in touch
