Online dating soon became the cess spot for a killer where he could pluck off the ripe victims.

An intriguing story which brought 4 women best friends Paige and Chloe, cousin Heather and mom Jane to try out online dating to find the right companion. But they fell into the web spin by the killer.

My first book by author Joy Fielding, the suspense built up slowly. Many a time, I wanted to warn these women to stop swiping. The dangers of online dating was well shown. I was always scared, now I am petrified. Never would I go that way!!

The writing was smooth with multiple POV including the killer’s. The twists were sharply felt. The scenes kept to the right side of graphic, so thankfully no nightmares. The author’s writing brought out the drama of relationships along with the suspense of the murder. I never knew what would happen next.

There was something hypnotic about this story that even with fear in my heart, I was compelled to read the story at one go. A great way to start my weekend with suspense and murder.

Joy Fielding (née Tepperman; born March 18, 1945) is a Canadian novelist and actress. She lives in Toronto, Ontario.

Born in Toronto, Ontario, she graduated from the University of Toronto in 1966, with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. As Joy Tepperman, she had a brief acting career, appearing in the film Winter Kept Us Warm (1965) and in an episode of Gunsmoke. She later changed her last name to Fielding (after Henry Fielding) and began writing novels.
Fielding is also the screenwriter of the television film Golden Will: The Silken Laumann Story.
