The most perfect book before going to sleep at night. Here we had a couple who had come back to their home town for their wedding. And a mysterious text message plagued them the night before the wedding. And immediately after the I Do’s came the brilliant scene which brought its own twist.
My first book by author Tara Lyons, and oh my God, I loved her writing. The build up of suspense was simply perfect. I kept turning pages at 2am just to know what would happen next. There was this inner curiosity which this author had piqued in me that compelled me to read it as fast as I could. I don’t think I blinked much while reading it.
I loved how the characterizations were done. The contrasts and the mindset of narrow minded villagers were well depicted. I could feel my hatred for such people rising. Then came the emotions. Wow at less than 100 pages, I felt the author had nailed it..
I was one happy ducky after reading this book. A perfect short crime story filled with suspense. I loved it.
I received a free ARC from the publisher, and this is my journey into its pages, straight from the heart!! STRICTLY HONEST AND UNBIASED.

With snow falling in a quaint Surrey Village, it’s the perfect setting for Holly and Christopher’s dream Christmas wedding. But instead of enjoying mince pies and mistletoe, their happiness is threatened by old secrets and someone harbouring a grudge. When the truth is finally revealed, can the couple enjoy the festivities with their family, or is their marriage doomed from the start?

I am well. I will only be working half day next week so that is nice. How are you? I don’t know how you manage to read so many books. You are my heroine.
