MY REVIEW
This was a random download, recommended by Amazon, by tapping a finger based on the gorgeousness of the cover. And it was so great.
Filled with twists and a certain amount of pathos for the main character Amy who was mistaken to be Liz after a ferry accident, where she took on this new identity to escape her abusive husband. But Liz’s life had its own secrets.
To say I loved it was an understatement. I was glued to the book from the beginning as the writing had the right amount of tease to it. It kept inviting me to read further to know the secrets hidden deep.
My first book by author Nicola Sanders this book was spot on. At 230+ pages it was a smooth, fast read. And she kept me guessing even when the know-it-all in me thought I had deciphered all clues correctly.
A brilliant book where I was eager to know the truth more than anything, forgoing my sleep, this was a perfect way to beat the blues which seemed to have haunted me in recent times.
