Many thanks to Emma and Damp Pebbles Blog Tours for my spot on this Blog Tour.
A clean romance by author Elle Sweet was what I needed to read while sitting across a setting sun.
Ari had the lousiest day, she was laid off at work, and she found out that her jerk of a husband had been having an affair since 2 years. She threw him out and left for Moonshine Bay at the behest of her friend. Jack had had heartbreak and betrayal in his past, but something about Ari drew him in. This was their love story, a second chance at life.
My first book by this author, and I loved it. Her writing made me think of the pastel shades of a gentle sunset with occasional bursts of orange and red and pink which were the emotions as it rippled through the story. The author knew how to capture my heart and hold it lovingly with her characters.
Both of them were vulnerable, having been hurt by their partners, it was wonderful to see them gravitate toward each other as if they recognized the goodness in the other. Some tough issues were sensitively dealt with.
Trust was slow to happen, and I liked how the author could use her words so effectively to make it all appear real. There was something completely endearing about the story that I couldn’t let go of my kindle.
I rarely ever gush about love story, but this was one special read that touched my heart with its simplicity, leaving a burstful of emotions in my heart. Absolutely beautiful.
I received a ARC from Emma and the author, and this is my journey into its pages, straight from the heart!! STRICTLY HONEST AND UNBIASED.

Ari had a very bad day and flees to Moonshire Bay to relax, heal and figure out what she really wants. At least she knows what she doesn’t want – a relationship.
Jack Callahan has been playing it safe in all aspects of his life after a failed business and a horrible misjudgment of someone’s character. Living in Moonshire Bay allows him to coast through life with his shields up and blinders on.
So what happens when Jack and Ari start working on a project together? Can their newfound friendship and attraction overcome their lack of trust?

This sounds tasty
It was fun. And quite a clean romance… Maybe not for you 😂😂
Sounds like a good love story. Fab review, Shalini.
I am reading the next two books by this author. Quite a change for me ❤️Thank you so much ❤️
You know I love to read romance, so this sounds like it would hit the spot for me. Wonderful review Shalini. I also love the slow building relationships, so the fact that it is slow to build works for me.
I have another book by her. That too looks sweet
