MY REVIEW
A cute story with sprinkles of humor and light hearted love between two people to whom life happened.
Betrayed by their exes both Hannah and Gabe navigate through life, until repeated encounters sparkled a romance between them.
Added to that was a bucket list left by her dead best friend with 6 tasks to be completed in order.
My first book by author Michelle Angelle, this was cute with a bit of angst. I loved how the author managed to assimilate the different shades of life in it. Family from Gabe’s side with 6 sisters had me smiling. Hannah with her makeovers and new zest for life had me cheering for her.
The writing was slightly long, could have been made sharper with zingy lines. Emotions needed the depth, but this was supposed to be a light hearted comedy as written in the tag line so I shouldn’t complain. Some of the incidents were over the top, maybe comedies were so.
I needed a change in genre, and this was it! Besides this reminded me of my friend who is actually called pinky pink.

BOOK BLURB
Do bears play polo? Can cats wear berets? Do happily ever afters exist? Often there are more questions than answers, and sometimes you find love on a bicycle.
Ever since Hannah caught her ex-boyfriend with another woman, she’s been stuck in a romance rut. When a hot guy in fancy bike gear corners her in the elevator, she lets him slip through her fingers, although his hard muscles and adorable grin never leave her thoughts.
Gabe is sick of plastic women who only see him as a piece of meat. Surprised by a funny woman in an elevator, he forgets to introduce himself and accidentally insults her instead. Convinced he’ll never see her again, he resigns himself to a life as a crazy cat man.
Will an unexpected bucket list change Hannah and Gabe’s life forever?

So many wonderful books to read, Shalini, so I’ll skip this one. Thank you for the review.
I’m glad you read a fun book. I needed to read that review rather than a thriller review today. Nice review–it doesn’t have to be a perfect book to be enjoyable.
