MY REVIEW
I love a good medical thriller, and this book raised my curiosity quite a bit.
Dr KATE was conscientious in her work, and when her patients started dying day 2 post-op, her integrity compelled her go down the road of investigation with quite an unlikely team.
My first book by author Tammy Euliano, I loved the swift pace of the first section where along with the mystery I was shown quite a bit of her life.
The story lost me in the mid section when the investigation got slowed down and quite a few characters found their way into the book. Also, the villain was made known early on.
It was just a matter of turning of pages to get to the truth. The story raised some debatable questions of medical practice. I loved the authenticity of it, I knew there were quite a few of us in the medical field who would do anything to earn money.
The ending was explosive, I would have liked it more if the suspense had been built up in the journey too. A good debut.

This one looked right up your alley – glad you enjoyed it overall.
A pity, when a promising thriller doesn’t quite deliver. I often feel bored about three quarters of the way through, and just want to know what happened, but if the book disappeared, I wouldn’t look for it!
