Life had changed for Lexie when her husband went to greener pastures at work, and she was left bringing up her soon to be ex-husband’s son, Connor, juggling at her job, and paying those bills. Basically what we call adulting. But with only her best Theo as her support, she managed until one drunken night…

Having read many books by this talented author, I knew Lisa Swift would give me more than a drunken fumble. And I was right. She gave me genuine emotions, real life problems and a step-son who was dealing with his sexuality.
With the re-entry of her not-so-much of an ex, her life toppled over and what was to be sexy-me time became angsty and teary. That louse!! But fear not, author Lisa Swift was present with the bold strokes of color to show what Lecie was all about. It was amazing to see this courageous woman find her way through explosive emotional mines.
The story had well etched characters, hot steamy romps between the sheets, and implosion of feelings. Don’t I know how to zap my Saturday?
