MY REVIEW
She said – Show me what will make me happy.
And the universe went out of its way to show her the path of true happiness. Though she did have to relive her life thrice to get it right. The dynamic duo, Christina Lauren, had brought out a new concept with a do-over romance in life.
Mae had a bad job, was living at home, and her love life was zilch. The only solace was the cabin in Utah where family and friends spent their Christmas week. Andrew was both love and friend along with his brother Theo whom she drunkenly made out with. But worry not, universe gave her a second chance…and a third…to get it right.
My first foray into the works of these authors, I loved how seamlessly their writing worked its subplots. Though I wasn’t too keen on the first part of time slip and its freaking out consequences, the story slowly moved to show me the meaning of true love.
I loved the light-hearted scenes which caused my heart to flutter away along with the intense ones where I knew it was love singing its song in true purity. Everything in me was a squidgy puddle while visualizing the scenes.
Moments of laughter and love bound me completely to the book in the latter half. I truly would love to have a connection like Mae and Andrew had, being a part of a whole.
Completely mesmerizing.

BOOK BLURB
It’s the most wonderful time of the year…but not for Maelyn Jones. She’s living with her parents, hates her going-nowhere job, and has just made a romantic error of epic proportions.
But perhaps worst of all, this is the last Christmas Mae will be at her favorite place in the world—the snowy Utah cabin where she and her family have spent every holiday since she was born, along with two other beloved families. Mentally melting down as she drives away from the cabin for the final time, Mae throws out what she thinks is a simple plea to the universe: Please. Show me what will make me happy.
The next thing she knows, tires screech and metal collides, everything goes black. But when Mae gasps awake…she’s on an airplane bound for Utah, where she begins the same holiday all over again. With one hilarious disaster after another sending her back to the plane, Mae must figure out how to break free of the strange time loop—and finally get her true love under the mistletoe.
