My review

The beginning of the book started with a bang, with Ashley Black in her FBI office dealing with the rogue supernaturals. Till she finds her best friend Liz having a slight unwanted attention problem with her boss, Charles. And story moves on with trying to find the real identity of Charles and the truth about him…

My first book by Author Felicia Huffman, and the book had a fast pace, the storyline was easily understood. I loved the fact that the characters all were proactive, ready to take on any danger.

What especially touched my heart was the bond between the siblings. There was a deep connection between them which made them fight for each other. It was nice to see their synchronicity in their thoughts and actions and their protectiveness toward their friends.

Esteban provided the love interests but he came with his own supernatural talents which him worthy of being Ashley’s soul mate.

The book had a few niggles, the characters could have been developed well, their back story though nice, could have been detailed. I could not get deeply immersed in their world, so the book went fast. Overall an enjoyable read!!
