Many thanks to Emma and Damp Pebbles Blog Tours for my spot on this Blog Tour.
Quite a sweet book of two souls finding a connection even with multitude of misunderstandings. My third book by this author, I found it mentally soothing.
Lucy had her yoga studio, Brandy was the mayor of the town. He liked her, she kept giving him excuses. Until one day they both vied for the same property front. Sparks flew.
The book was short, a novella, I would say. The character development was just right to understand them. There was a lot of back and forth between them as misconceptions kept popping up. I felt the book signified the beginning of their relationship.
Both Brandt and Lucy were quite clear in their ways of life, Brandt more than Lucy. Their past made them stronger. I found Brandt endearing even though he kept goofing up. Vulnerabilities were well revealed giving me a hint of what had happened to Lucy in her past life, though I would have loved a detailed backstory.
Ellen’s writing kept the book short and the story entertaining. Overall, it took me about an hour to read the beginning of their new life together.
I received a ARC from Emma and the author, and this is my journey into its pages, straight from the heart!! STRICTLY HONEST AND UNBIASED.

Welcome to Moonshire Bay – the small lakeside community that has love in the air!
Lucy was a high-powered attorney who had it all in her professional and private life, or so she thought. After the pressures of the courtroom mount and she suffers a nervous breakdown her husband leaves her.
Broken, she flees to the small town of Moonshire Bay to start over as a yoga instructor; determined to find inner peace in all things this time around.
Brant, Moonshire Bay’s Mayor, is running for governor and running after Lucy, but she is scared of his drive and need for success.
Can Lucy realize she’s stronger than she thinks and take a chance on love?
