Oh my!! The cover depicts it all.. 😂 😂 TASHA did wear the pink fuzzy pig slippers which went oink oink. Her life appeared to be a mess with an ex-husband hustling her for money, mother wanting her to date, sister not getting along, infertility specialist threatening to sue her. But love for her children and family shone right through the pages of the book. And that was what kept me going.

My first book by author Carole Wolfe was a fast read. At 195 pages, the author gave me a complete story. It was extremely entertaining to see the events that unfolded in Tasha’s life, some of them were slippery falls and weird speed dating. I felt like a voyeur wanting to gossip about her. She did win 100 million pounds in lottery.

It took the whole book for Tasha to grow a backbone, but how could I fault a woman whose heart was larger than she? The only thing that irked me was that she was quite messy, how could she expect her children to pick up after her when she didn’t? Ah well..

Overall, this was jammed with humor along with love, relationships, friendships which showed me how important family bonds were, and it was family who could prop you up when you need moments of rest. Read it between intense books, it freshens the mind.
