He was Tony the big bad broken guy who had no heart, who was left abandoned, who was broken from inside, and he reminded me of ME…. How could I not love him, how could I stop loving MYSELF?!

From Book 1, I knew Tony needed someone larger than life, who had a kind heart, whose fighting skills would match his and who had more than enough love to share forever, who never gave up on him. And enter Grace the cop and bounty hunter, with long red hair and green eyes who could just zap Tony with a single look and whose Irish blood boiled hot with Tony’s touch.

Grace was everything I wanted for my Tony, and author Leslie Georgeson has done a fabulous job bringing these two together again and again. Tony couldn’t stay away from her, she was that sexy, but she wanted more and hence he couldn’t stay with her. But lost children, gangs, and the Company from the past made these two fight for a life together, slowly healing each other.

Leslie’s writing made me start believing in myself, believing in the elusive emotion known as love. Her scenes, especially in the way Grace handled a broken Tony made me long for my own mate. As in all the books by this author, the heat from the lovemaking was scorching. I loved the way the first kiss is described in her books. There is something innocent and sensuous in them.

I have started expecting twists and action in all her books, and the author does not disappoint. This had Grace fighting hard alongside Tony and that warmed my ‘quiet loving’ heart.

What can I say, Tony was special

They are the Dregs and I love them all and that’s all that matters

I downloaded the digital copy of the book from Kindle Unlimited, and this is my journey into its pages, straight from the heart!!

Leslie Georgeson is the author of the standalone mystery/drama NO SON OF MINE, the UNLIKELY HEROES romantic suspense series, the paranormal/sci-fi romance series UNDERNEATH, and the newly released THE DREGS, a military romantic suspense series. Leslie lives with her husband and daughter on a quiet country acreage in Idaho. She is currently working on The Trainer, the fifth book in The Dregs series, and anticipates a January 1, 2019 release.

Discharged.

As a soldier, that was the thing I dreaded most. Being discharged. War, fighting, and killing were my life. What I did best.

But now I’d been discharged. My physical injuries were minuscule. But my mental injuries were severe. PTSD. That’s what they said. I was messed up inside. Loco. So now I am a dreg. With nothing to do. No purpose in life. I will waste away like this. I need action. I need violence. I need war.

I find all of that when a gorgeous redhead tricks me. She’s a bounty hunter. How did I not see that one coming? Now I am a captive. Chained like a beast. I will escape. I will get revenge and make her pay. I will get the violence I crave.

Then she frees me. And the tables turn. Now I’m in charge. She’s my prisoner. I can’t lose this battle. I won’t let her win. Because losing means she’s taken something from me, something I don’t want to admit I even had to begin with.

A heart.

  1. I don’t like the name “The Dregs” that is so sad. I know you love Tony, just look at the cover of this book. So sweet that you are so attached to him since the first book. Glad you are enjoying this series.

    1. Dregs sound bad but they are actually powerful courageous soldiers, the others have shunned them… But each one is lovable… Well the story has many subplots

    1. Love lust… 😂 😂 Yikes I am assuming that since doing a PhD you are in your twenties. If you are one of the child genius, delete my comment 😂🤣

        1. I ain’t telling you my age.. I was born in the dark ages… But I had this vision of apologizing to parents in English/hindi/tamil/for the comment 😂😂

  2. Sounds like a cool read…your words bring an echo and touches the heart in the right place…makes it like a novel within a novel. I am telling you…write something 🙂
