My review

If there was ever a book which made me laugh uproariously, it is this book

If there was ever a book which made me want to hug it, it is this book

If there was such a book that I wanted to never let go, it is this book

If there was such a book which should go on and on, it is this book

If there was ever a book where the characters were so loving, it is this book

If there was ever a book where the town was such a loving busy-body, it is this book

If there was ever a book which had an outrageous Aunt Agatha, it is this book

If there was ever a book which had a heartberry festival, it is this book

If there was ever an author who wrote the most perfect lines, it is this book

If there was ever a book which made me feel alive, it is this book

If there was ever a book which made me feel all the emotions, it is this book

If there was ever a pick-me-up book, it is this book

If there was ever a book which I will always cherish, it is this book

If there are more books by Holly Martin (of course, there are), I will pick them all

What more can I say beyond this, I laughed, I cried, I flirted, I loved. I felt more than I have ever felt in a book. I knew Holly Martin wrote beautiful books, but I didn’t know she wrote dialogs which were so alive, so exhilarating. Every part of this book made me feel alive, more alive that I have felt in this entire week

Do I need to say anything beyond this to know the journey which this book took me????

The only niggle I had was that a problem at the farm had a simple solution, but they waited till the storm was upon them, to use it. That diluted the plot for me, and the ending was a bit rushed.

I received an ARC from NetGalley and publisher Bookouture, and this is my honest and unbiased opinion.

My Rating : 4.5 stars

  1. I keep seeing this one and thinking about it but I’ve been trying to behave darn it, I’m going to pretend you didn’t just gush over it and walk away now….

  2. Ha ha ha!! That niggle again! Only you can make the bad point of a book SOUND SO DAMN CUTE!!! It sounds like something I want to snuggle up with right now, for sure! 💖💖

    1. Hahaha that point felt so odd. A simple solution I was screaming out to the characters but they refused to listen to me from the beginning. Then when they thought of the same solution, they didn’t bother to acknowledge me. What dare

      1. What jerks!! If only they’d listened!! It’s like the people in horror movies “DON’T GO UPSTAIRS YOU IDIOT!! YOU’RE GOING TO DIE!” They should just LISTEN to us!!

  3. So weird… Apparently the comment I posted on here before didn’t actually post… Well, let’s see if I can remember what I said!
Awww… You and your niggles… Only YOU could make the down side of a book sound SO DAMNED CUTE! I want to snuggle up with this one RIGHT NOW! 💖💖

    1. I had given 5star, but they made a slight mistake in the plot. There was a problem in the farm, the solution was right there but the characters kept on saying everything is lost and when the rains came, they used the same solution which was right there from the beginning, and then said – we saved the day. They didn’t, there was no bright idea. So I thought they are pretty stupid that is why 4.5 stars

    1. If the book was a man, I would have definitely proposed. You gave me a great idea. At least I can imagine that one day, such a man would come sighhhh

        1. Aaah Michael..
          The world rests on hope
          My heart beats on hope
I close my eyes, pray for hope
Till then Michael’s pasta&pizza date is hope
Hahaha my 2 second poem for you
